Description
Sheldon-134, Rarity-4. Sharp and complete design elements on deep golden-brown surfaces. Uniform microporosity on both sides does little to interfere with the quality of strike and the eye appeal. In 2024, an NGC AU Cleaned example of the date brought $6,000 in a Heritage sale, and in 2020, a PCGS AU-58, perhaps the finest slabbed, brought $11,750 in a Goldberg sale. We feel our cautious pre-sale estimate is well within the boundaries of the coin’s worth — if anything, we’re a trifle shy with our number.
