Description
Finer than the assigned grade to our eyes, with nary a mark or disturbance of any size to be found, even under low magnification. Satiny yellow-gold with superior luster and matching aesthetic appeal. Though more than 100 examples of the date have been called Mint State at PCGS, the preponderance of the total falls below the MS-64 mark; just 10 examples have been deemed finer at that organization. If you could locate an MS-65 you would expect to pay $70,000 or more, with a CAC example possibly reaching $100,000. Rare and elusive at this level, and an absolute treat in all regards.
