A classic among double eagles, the Centennial issue from Nevada’s capital city mint. Deep honey-gold with rose highlights. Evenly worn yet not heavily marked. Scarce and desirable in all grades, this in spite of the somewhat sizeable mintage of 138,441 pieces. Today’s survivors are seldom seen above EF.
