Description
Circa 1800. Uniface, dished. 3″ diameter, 70.3 grams coin silver. An amazing early American item, bright and lustrous with no serious marks. Obverse engraved with Liberty Cap on Pole, a puptent below, both above a plow similar to that in the Jersey coppers series, and with “True Riches” above them all. (No doubt the true riches stand for Liberty, Home, and Agriculture/Work.) About as neat as it gets.
